An exceptionally rare and complete Model 901 executive suite by Danish architect and designer Bodil Kjær, produced by E. Pedersen & Søn in Denmark, 1959. This set includes a large freestanding desk, two drawer modules, and the matching sideboard, all in striking rosewood veneer with beautifully figured grain and a chrome-plated steel frame.
Internationally recognized for it's clean architectural lines, this suite exemplifies Kjær's radical vision of functional modernism - furniture designed not as decoration, but as integral elements of space and architecture. The floating cassette drawers and minimalist silhouette were intended to harmonize the modernist buildings of Mies Van Der Rohe and Marcel Breuer.
This suite is one of the very few known examples that mirrors the full setup featured in several James Bond films, including From Russia With Love and You Only Live Twice. It is considered an icon of 20th-century design and an object of true cultural significance.
