My furniture is a celebration of Brazil’s soul – its culture, materials, and joy of living.
Sergio Rodrigues (1927–2014) was a Brazilian architect and designer, celebrated as a trailblazer in modern furniture design. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he trained as an architect before turning his attention to furniture, where his designs merged traditional Brazilian craftsmanship with mid-century modern aesthetics. His "Mole Chair" (1957) gained international acclaim, epitomizing comfort, style, and a distinctly Brazilian character. Rodrigues worked with native materials like jacaranda wood and leather, emphasizing Brazil’s cultural identity in every piece.
